The Wilberforce Fire Department was organized in 1959 following a number of devastating fires in the area. Volunteers of the Fire Brigade each donated a sheet of plywood and their time to construct the first Fire Hall to house the first fire truck.

    This original Fire Truck is still operational and is stationed in Tory Hill for use in the Country Good Times Parade and could be used for Brush Fires.
